Smilley First Tour and Album

Indie, alternative artist Smilley, also known as Miles Platt officially started his 2026 Tour, “Farewell.” He is originally from Los Angeles but currently based out of Boston while he finishes school at Berklee College of Music. His discography consists of emotional, raw, and nostalgic alternative and indie rock.

Through his own self-expression, Platt strives to provide people with a space to be themselves and feel comfortable and seen. He feels as though he did his job successfully if only one person steps away from the music feeling like they were understood or represented on any level.

His 2026 Tour Farewell, started on March 14 in Burlington, VT in support of his upcoming album, “Oh Well.” He has upcoming tour stops in New York at the Mercury Lounge on March 16, Philadelphia at Philly Style Pizza and Grill on March 19, Columbus, OH at Rumba Cafe on March 20, and his final stop is in Somerville, MA at The Rockwell on March 28.

He released an EP called Deadbeat on February 28th, as a teaser before releasing his album “Oh Well” in mid April. It features four of his songs, “Deadbeat,” “Rail,” “Shin Ei,” and “8899.” His music explodes with power and high intensity, creating a unique yet nostalgic sound. This is an artist you should definitely be on the look out for with tons of great songs to be added to your playlists if you are a fan of alternative rock music, and looking for a new sound.

“Oh Well” will be exploring a darker, rawer and more vulnerable side of his music that his audience has not seen yet. It was produced by Miles alongside producers Colin Clayton and Owen Traynor. The songs are expected to explore genres like post-punk, shoe gaze, garage and even alt-folk.

Cate Yoder on bass, Sebastian Stinnett on guitar and Jojo Berry on drums.

Be sure to listen to Smilley on every streaming platform and follow them on social media for more updates on his tour and upcoming album “Oh Well.”
