Located in Farmingdale, Music on Main is a free family friendly Long Island tradition. It is one of Long Island’s best street festivals featuring live music performances, DJ sets, outdoor dining from local restaurants, vendors from local businesses and games. This free event makes an amazing summer night to spend with family and friends.
When and Where?
It takes place on select Thursdays in the summer, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM on July 10, July 24, August 7, and August 21, with rain date on August 28 if needed. It is located on Main Street (between Prospect St. and South Front St.) Each day runs from 5 PM to 9 PM.
Favorite Restaurants
Before heading to Main Street, I went to Nunzi’s for dinner which is a few blocks away and an incredible Italian restaurant, one of my favorites. During the actual festival, there is a wide selection of types of food with outdoor seating and more music inside.
